Sheet music of Bartok's Romanian Folk Dance No.2 Peasant Costume, for solo piano.  This sheet music transcription transposes the piece down an octave to give it a "grittier," bass feeling.  The arranger also modified Bartok's original counterpoint to give the piece a "beefier," grittier bass sound.  This is similar to how Johannes Brahms transcribed Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90, No.2 in a lower bass octave to give it a "meatier," grittier Brahmsian tone.  Lilypond transcription.
