Amazing book depicting the life of a black youth in the Jim Crowe era. Pages stopped at 228, book claimed 240 pages? It appears to lack ending. Will give the book 4 stars, would have been 5 stars with a proper ending.

Not the entire book
This book in its entirety is actually over 425 pages and has 2 parts. This is only part 1
Nothing appears to be missing
I own a mass marked paperback version of this book, which does have 288 pages, but I checked the final two pages and it just appears that the OCR misread 228 as 288. There is a three page afterword in the edition I own, but based on the copyright page, it was especially made for that edition.
