Short biography of Unitarian-turned-Socialist magazine and book publisher Charles Hope Kerr (1860-1944). Kerr's Chicago publishing house, Charles H. Kerr & Co., was the publisher of the magazines Unity, New Occasions, The New Time, and International Socialist Review, and was the largest publisher of Marxist books in the United States during the first two decades of the 20th Century.
