George. Located 4 1/2 miles northeast of Lawrenceville, Ill., it was the first training field located north of the Mason-Dixon-Ohio River line. This final issue of the Camp's newspaper includes a brief history of George Field and many photos of air field personnel and events. George Field is now the home of the Mid-America Air Center
