Description

Part of the collection of business letters written by merchant Karuna Ratna Tuladhar between 1940 and 1954 from the family business house Ghorashar in Lhasa where he lived from 1935 - 1946 and 1949 - 1954. The letters are addressed to his elder brother Lupau Ratna at their office in Kalimpong, India or to his mother Dhan Maya at home in Kathmandu, and relate to matters like caravans arrived and departed, prices of merchandise, and monies received and paid.
