Seaweed (Khappaphycus alvarezii) is a fishery commodity that is in great demand in the world. South Sulawesi is one of the largest seaweed-producing areas in Indonesia and Wajo Regency occupies the first position with the largest production of 433,817.4 tons/year, however, it is still experiencing several obstacles, starting from the selection of land/location, seeds, pests and diseases, institutions, limitations capital, marketing and processing.
