‘Asha-Disha’ is a collection of 45 poems by prolific and popular Maithili poet Pandit Chandranath Mishra ‘Amar’ in Maithili published in 1975 published by Maithili Granthamala Prakashan. Poems in this collection are of different nature right from cultivating sense of nationalism and nation building to social and political issues, the great Mithila, farmers and their importance in nation building, social bond and likes. Pandit Amar who was conferred with Fellowship of Sahitya Akademi is known for inspirational poetry. He is a satirist par-excellence.  ‘Asha-Disha’ is among his many outstanding works in Maithili.
