Few of which were ever printed in any Book of songs. Also A Curious Collection of the best Catches and Glees, J. Tonson, A. Millar, E. Dilly, and J. Hodges, London, n. d. [c.1777]ESTC T189263In ESTC this songster is dated as possibly from 1760. But that's much too early. It also includes a song from Dibdin's "The Quaker" ("The Lads of the Village", p. 48), that was first performed in May 1775 and the revived in October 1777 (see London Stage 4.3, p. 1889 & 5.1, p. 118).
