The Present Publication of Ranjana Script Alphabet "Ranjana Lipi Varnamala" is a Newari Script published by Hem Raj Shakya, Shankarman Rajbanshi and others. The importance of Ranjana Script is well known in the Buddhist world such as China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, Ladakh, Tibet and others. This script is used mostly in Buddhist Monasteries, Temples and Manuscripts. A large number of Buddhist Manuscripts especially prajnaparmita literature and monograms are found to have written in this script with gold, silver or both in Tibetan Monasteries. Ranjana Script is one of the most decorative scripts of Nepal which is registered in the United Nation.
