Description

The third collection of "The Effect of the Gas Medium and Pressure on Body Functions" contains the results of further work-up of the problem of the effect on the body of increased and reduced total and partial pressures of various gases in ordinary air , as well as artificial gas mixtures used in deep water descents . A characteristic feature of this collection is the major place accorded to investigations on problems associated with being under conditions of increased pressure .
