Film by ROBERT GARDNER. Footage of battles between the Willihiman-Wallalua clan and the Wittaia clan. Dead Birds is a 1963 American documentary about the ritual warfare cycle of the Dugum Dani people who live in the Baliem Valley.  I came across this video a few years ago but it had music and silly edits, I couldn’t find another upload of it. Found one copy of the full doco on a torrent site an uploaded the battle scene in its original form no music or edits!
