Description

The Mysteries of the Tao by Wang Jie is available here in EPUB, AZW3, and PDF formats. Book Description: The Mysteries of the Tao is the English translation of the Chinese Taoist text Tao-hsüan p’ien, also spelled in Hanyu Pinyin as Dàoxuán piān (道玄篇). It was written by the Taoist master Wang Jie (王玠), also known as Wang Daoyuan (王道淵) and who is sometimes called by the Taoist epithet Hunranzi (混然子). The present translation was done by Eva Wong and was originally published in the anthology titled Nourishing the Essence of Life. This short book contains basic Taoist teachings but focuses on the Taoist view of reality and the cultivation of the mind. It also explains in simpler language some of the concepts found in Laozi's Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching).
